UK, Western & Eastern Europe in 1 1/2 months
From Jennifer: "I'm leaving at the end of May. I'll be traveling around for a month and a half. Landing in London, then off to Spain. In Barcelona I will be taking a med cruise for a week that will hit the Spanish islands, the south of France and the south of Italy. Then off to Greece for a week.
"From there I can really use a rail pass. My friend and I will be hitting all the Eastern Euorpean countries. Bulgaria, Romania, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Czech Republic and Slovakia. I can't wait. I hope I win."
What railpasses would work well for this trip?
Mmmmmm.... Eastern Europe....
A European East Pass covers the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Austria, so that would sort out Jennifer there.
From there, some point-to-point tickets should take care of the rest. Nice way to wind down, after that cruise...
